The Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics Torch Relay was held in Zhangjiakou on 3 February. Mr Ma took part in the Winter Olympic Torch Relay in Desheng Village, Zhangbei County, Zhangjiakou.
The company held a seminar on the theme of "Passing on the spirit of the Winter Olympics and igniting the dreams of craftsmen". The torchbearer of the Winter Olympics, Ma Zhu, was invited to attend.
At the symposium, we watched the video of the Winter Olympics Torch Relay together and felt the atmosphere of the scene up close. In order to let the staff know more about the story of Liu Boqiang, the last torchbearer to complete the torch relay in Shougang Park, they watched the video of "A Chinese Icemaker's Dream of Winter Olympics", listened to the "cross-border" life from steel rolling workers to ice makers, experienced the spirit of Winter Olympics and enhanced national pride.
At the seminar, Ma Zhu brought the Winter Olympic torch and the torchbearer's certificate, and also shared his feelings about participating in the torch relay this time. He said, "The identity of the torchbearer is not only an honour, but also a responsibility. He will use this to motivate himself, do his job well, lead the innovation team well, guide the young workers to be firm in their beliefs, adhere to their goals, persist in learning, continue to innovate, work hard and not only be the torchbearer of the Winter Olympics, but also strive to be the torchbearer of high-quality development. As long as we work hard, we are all torchbearers!"
"Striving to be torchbearers of high quality development, together to the future!" The symposium is about the deeds and learning the spirit.
